Germany’s Condor Airlines to Return to Tbilisi in Summer 2026
The German leisure airline Condor has announced plans to resume flights to Georgia in the summer of 2026. According to the airline’s website schedule, it will begin operating daily flights from Frankfurt, Germany, to Tbilisi (TBS) starting on June 15.
Condor first launched on this route in May 2022, starting with two weekly flights. According to the Georgian aviation authorities, the airline carried 14,000 passengers on the local market that year.
This winter season, there are no direct flights between Tbilisi and Frankfurt. Flights from the Georgian capital are currently operated to Berlin (by Georgian Airways) and Munich (by Lufthansa).
Overall, Germany is the largest destination for air travel from Georgia within the EU. In 2024, nearly 444,000 air travelers used air services between the two countries. This represents 6% of the total passenger air traffic in Georgia.
